Way back in May 2001, when you could still just hop on an airplane without getting X-rayed or groped, the Hobbitt and I took a trip to Monterey and San Francisco. Monterey is beautiful and San Francisco is interesting. Together, they made for a very interesting trip.
I was using my very first digital camera, an Olympus C-2100UZ, which had a 10X zoom lens and a whopping 2.1 megapixels. Although it may seem primitive by today's standards, it opened whole new worlds in what I was able to shoot. And the convenience of digital photography meant that I could move the pictures directly to my laptop and send them by email the same day that I shot them.
