A tribute to George Washington

Ole smilin' blue-eyed George, our very first president.
Poor George -- first in war, first in peace, and all of that. Our first president, and I'm old enough to remember when he had his very own holiday. But no more. Lumped in with all the other guys on President's Day. So to help make up for this downgrade, I've assembled a gaggle of Georges that I've done over the years. I hope it's a fitting tribute.

Technical notes: These images were created with more tools, processes, techniques, hardware, and software than tongue can tell. Most of the information is lost in my digital past. I do remember that the subject charged me a dollar to pose, and that he held real still as I worked.
