It was February of 2002 and the muse and I were wandering through Central Park. It was late in the afternoon and the shadows were getting longer. As we came to one of the many plazas in the park, my eyes were drawn to the play of the shadows over the paving stones. When I pointed the camera downwards, another whole world appeared.
As I snapped away, people were looking at me, wondering what I was shooting. The answer is this set of pictures, looking into the world of shadows. To see them as they originally looked, image them upside down.
Imagine using your camera to explore another world.
These were all shot with my old faithful Sony DSC-F707. The tuning up was done with LightZone and Paintshop Pro.
